With the precision of an elite team of special ops forces, the Doberman Pinschers pull of a bank heist, terrorizing customers and employees alike as they flawlessly execute a precision robbery. The dutiful Dobies are soon in training for another bold caper, one that will take them up a high-rise elevator, into offices, across rooftops, down a laundry chute and into a waiting van. A smalltime crook, a waitress and military dog-trainer devise a fool-proof plan to use trained dogs to steal millions in The Doberman Gang.
In the sequel The Daring Dobermans, the law can’t find those four-legged thieves, but three pals hoping to pull off a daring heist do, using sound waves to call the dogs.
They’re not people they’re The Doberman Gang dogs, trained to avoid human error and pull off the perfect bank heist. So he teams with Baby Face Nelson, Bonnie and Clyde, Dillinger, Ma Barker and Pretty Boy Floyd. After a bungled bank job, a clever con realizes he needs a new gang. So I am undecided. This product is manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media. Even if it didn't change the 'gene pool', we still might end up with a lot more rescues.
#THE DOBERMAN GANG DVD MOVIE#
If it's a cool movie with a happy ending of beautiful Dobermans that 'do the right thing', I could see a rise in people thinking they want that kind of dog too! Especially since, like Damasyn said, you don't see Dobermans around every corner and I could see people having a renewed interest just because they have 'forgotten' about this breed, until the movie! I didn't know Dobermans 35 years ago, so I don't know if it really IS that they have changed the breed temperament OR the people perception of them, but I love what they are today and I wouldn't want an influx of breedings due to demand after a movie to change that. ONLY because of how everyone always wants what they see in the movies, just like 101 Dalmatians! And finding Nemo in the toilet is not what I want to see!! lol Of course, you know I love Cesar and half of me finds it appealing that he would have a part in this but even he should know what this may spark. “I loved these films growing up and it’s time to introduce the Doberman Gang to a new audience.”įirst off, don't beat me up, but I've never seen the movie! :run: Sorry! If I did, I don't remember it! :dunno: But I guess not even seeing it, I would have to say I'm on the fence with this.
#THE DOBERMAN GANG DVD SERIES#
“We’re excited to bring back this action-packed series which has great potential as a feature franchise,” says Reagan. The original story focused on a pack of Dobermans trained to pull off the perfect crime - but the dogs become crime-fighting heroes when they turn the tables and thwart the thieves’ plan. The success of the original film was followed by two sequels, "The Daring Dobermans" in 1973, followed by "The Amazing Dobermans", which - in addition 5 well-trained Dobermans - starred the unlikely trio of Fred Astaire, Barbara Eden and Billy Barty.
The original films have developed a cult following since "The Doberman Gang" premiered in 1972. The project, which is not yet set up at a studio, will focus on updating the action-heist series. “Dog Whisperer” Cesar Millan and producer Darren Reagan have teamed to re-launch the classic 70's film series. "The Doberman Gang" has finally been collared for a re-make. "Doberman Gang" Films Get Whispered for a Remake
